Project Phases:

• Build arm using original or borrowed/modified design- what are some of the issues( reach, stability, etc.)?
• Standard Robotic Arm Design
• Divide construction work into modules-
  • Base Unit
  • Arm
  • Claw

Direct Control:

• Control Using pushbutton program- download here or at http://www.nxtprograms.com/robot_arm/index.html - move a ball from one tire to another

  Note how complex and tiresome this gets......

• Control using recorded movements- add parallel sequence to record and play back movements.

Note that if you want an action to repeat (as on many industrial robots) you need to return the mechanism to its original starting position at the end of the teaching sequence.
